The hotel is very convenient for sightseeing. Lack of disadvantaged people in the area helps to feel safe.
nothing bad especially compared to many Indian hotels
Location, right in the middle of Colaba
Very, very simple and MUCH overpriced. Loud noice from street and from inside the building. Narrow beds with SHEETS NOT WASHED since the guests before
The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the location was brilliant, couldn't ask for more for the price.
Room service menu slightly limited but otherwise a very good hotel.
Location is very nice, its situated near good cafe Leopold
The room was so small and only one thing you can see from the window- it is dirty wall
the staff of the hotel, the facilities, the way they treat the customers
The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was basic, clean and not a terrible price for the absolute perfect location.
A tad expensive for the services provided.
Friendly and suportive staff providing everything what you ask, and informing about everything what I was curiuos about, including taxi prices :)
Thouth I think it is a bit too expensive for what yo get.
Its in a good location right behind the Taj, We didnt like our first room, right out onto reception, they moved us quickly the next day. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was acceptable.
The bedsheets had great big stains on them but appeared to be clean, but not nice to look at. No top sheet just a two small blankets on a double bed, not convinced they have been laundered between each guest change. It seemed like nearly all the rooms were very close to reception thus noise from it was an issue as lots going on into early hours. The hotel bell boys sleep and lay outside the door to our room for the whole four days we were there, thus you can hear them and as a couple there is no privacy as they are leaning against your door!!! They did not service the room once in the time we were there, I didnt think I would have to ask, it calls itself a hotel. It is cheaper than a lot in Mumbai but I would pay more to get a decent room next time
The location is excellent and the staff was accomodating. We needed to store our stuff for the day even though we were not going to stay there that night, and they locked it up for us and called us a cab for the airport.
Our room had ants. The internet was only available in the lobby, and the staff had to type in the wifi password for us, which was kind of weird.
Very good location for exploring Colaba and South Mumbai, Rooms are clean (related to Indian standard in that price segment) and price is good for that location (cheaper places found around market area, Worli or airport only)
Quite noisy, WiFi in public areas (which means literally one sofa at lobby desk) only. Advice taxi/rikshaw driver to drop you at Café Leopold on causeway, which is well known- otherwise might be difficult to find
Location of the Hotel
Very tiny room and so close to the reception counter that disturbance to inmates whenever room boys talk or customers visit reception counter,
The staff cancelled the room before we arrived, though according to the booking we could check in any time after 12 pm. We had to wander through an unknown city until they had another room free. They requested two different prices, both not according to the booking. Eventually bargaining settled the deal.
The staff was helpful, as far as I have seen probably the best budget hotel in Colaba, Mumbai. the room was clean.
I saw a few rats in the hotel (fortunately not in the room), probably i'm just not used to that, and that's normal in India :) Also there were some fleas in my bed as well..
